This is Ikes Tivio, the stud that our mares were bred to for '07 foals. He is also the sire of Drifting Blue Tivio and Boogers Driftn Tivio, our two stallion prospects which are both on our sale page at this time. Ike throws over 80% buckskins, he's thrown 1 gray (born buckskin) and 1 roan (also born buckskin) and the rest were bays. The roan and the gray will both have the ability to throw the buckskin gene. Ike hasn't ever thrown a sorrel foal. It is highly likely (although no test has been done) that he is homozygous for black. Ike is a money earning heading and heeling horse. He is used for ranch work and has been hauled to jackpots. He has a great disposition and passes it on to his foals along with his stunning good looks. Here are some examples of the colts that Ike has thrown in the past....there were quite a few more buckskins and some more fillies but a lot of them sold before I could get their picture or they were from outside mares and I haven't been able to get their picture.
